Railway Quay

Railway Quay is adjoining the cross-channel ferry terminal and town centre south of the Swing Bridge and on the east side of the River Ouse. In addition to a wide selection of magnificent riverside apartments, the development plans include refurbishment of two listed buildings providing restaurants and bars on the ground floor. These will open out onto a dramatic viewing area and riverside walkway stretching some 370 metres along the entire length of the site providing public access to the East side waterfront for the first time.

These attractive restaurants spilling out along the waterfront will present a popular venue for visiting yachts to tie up and enjoy delightful summer lunchtimes and evenings in convivial and sophisticated surroundings.

Railway Quay will transform Newhaven into one of the south coast's premier yachting destinations.

The multi-million pound regeneration works required for this transformation include decontamination of the site following its marine and rail repair uses over hundreds of years.

Railway Quay is Phase 4 in the Newhaven Marina development project, and more information will appear here as it comes available.
