Geotechnical Investigations at Rampion (02)

Notice is hereby given that Fugro GeoConsulting Limited (Fugro) will be conducting a Geotechnical Investigation within the UK Sector of the English Channel on behalf of E.ON Climate & Renewables UK Limited (Eon). The Rampion Wind Farm site (formerly known as Hastings) is one of the Round 3 Zones that have been identified by the Crown Estate as potential areas of Wind Farm Site developments. Fugro will undertake the investigation in two phases, with the first phase due to commence around the week commencing the 21st March 2011 for a period of approximately ten days and will utilise the Dynamically Positioned Geotechnical drilling vessel the MV Fugro Saltire (see attached vessel information, below). Details of the second phase will be confirmed in due course, although we currently anticipate that a second vessel will be mobilised during April 2011…

Rampion Gear Marker Observation Survey

Notice is hereby given that Brown & May Marine Ltd will be conducting a gear marker observation survey off the Sussex coast on behalf of E.On Rampion Offshore Wind Ltd. The details of the survey are as follows;

Proposed Schedule:
The survey operations will commence on 8th March 2011 for a period of 4/5 days (weather dependant).

Survey Area:
The chart below illstruates the proposed transect line the observation survey vessel will be tranversing around the proposed borehole locations.

The table overleaf gives the coordinates of the proposed borehole locations to be surveyed.

The Aquavitesse, a charter fishing vessel from Brighton Marina, will be undertaking the survey.
