By Air

The nearest major airport is Gatwick, which is situated alongside the M23 and so easily reached by road, joining the M23 motorway at Brighton. By train, Gatwick involves one change at Lewes and the journey takes about 50 minutes. There is a small airport for light aircraft at Shoreham, just to the west of Brighton.
