RNLI Lifeboat Station and Shop
Founded in 1803 the Newhaven Lifeboat Station is amongst the oldest in the country. Formed some 21 years before the Royal National Lifeboat Institution itself, it celebrated its 200th Anniversary in May 2003. A brand new boathouse and life station was completed in the spring of 2004. There is a shop at the lifeboat station selling RNLI souvenirs.
